Will 94-95 style BBK Midlengths and Y-Pipe fit my 97?

I was thinking about getting these but i didn't want to keep my stock y-pipe with the cats. I was wondering if the 94-95 style headers and y-pipe would bolt up to my catback or would i have to do some modifications? Also, should i get chrome or ceramic coated?

Back when I was considering headers I checked
out lots of systems. Most of the earlier (95) style
headers will work fine with a 97 as long as you
are ready to deal with relocation of the catalytics,
and you don't mind dealing with some extra work
to hook up smog stuff. In fact, the vendors say that
the earlier style headers perform a little better
than the 97 style.

To answer the question, you can run a 94/95 style header on a 96/97 style car with the existing catback. You need to get an s-pipe to connect the two pipes though. I think tbyrne has it.
