Lloyd Elliott heads/hotcam dyno numbers

I recently dynoed my Caprice with Lloyd Elliott heads (2.02/1.60" valves), hotcam and 1.7 rockers. The car was dynoed in a true street trim (belt on, air filter on, converter unlocked) through a 2.25" dual exhaust with 3 chamber flowmasters.

Here's the dyno sheet:

Thanks again Lloyd.

Yo! Ive heard a lot about that place. I was actually going to call and see if they had a dyno. How are there rates for installs and dyno? Nice Numbers too! I know you sent your heads to Lloyd and I would like to do the same, but does J.D.'s offer port+polish, I am just trying to avoid shipping on the heads.

Bryan Herter tuned the car on the dyno. The tuning and 3 runs cost me $250. I'm not sure if they offer head porting services.

Where did you pick up the 1.7RR? How much were they? Did you have to modify the valve covers to get them in? I'm thinking of upgrading to the 1.7's I just want to make sure I know everything before I go ahead with the purchase. What's the lift on the LT4cam with the 1.7's ?

Thanks

I got Comp Cams 1.7 stainless rockers. I needed tall valve covers for the polylocks to clear.

The hotcam lift with 1.7 rockers is .558".

Looks great!!

It also looks like you may have seen a better max TQ number if you would have started the dyno run at a little lower RPM.

Thanks for sharing.

Nice numbers for a Hotcam, but I wonder what the SAE corrected numbers would be?

I was wondering why you stayed with such a mild cam instead of getting his high power custom cam. Im considering his 2LE kit . Thats impressive for the hot cam!

Nice numbers broh!!

Had a quick question for you...Was that 250.00 total for both Bryan and JD or was it just 250 for JD and more for Bryan.

Also sent you an email.

Thx,
Claude

I'm pretty sure thats the most power anyone has seen out of a hotcam in a stock block. Congrats!
