GM 847 cam tuning question

I have an XE 230/236 right now and its been tuned by fastchip.

I'm switching to a GM 847. Would I need to retune the PCM?

What would happen if I didn't?

How much power would I gain if I did tune it again?

The car would run decent with the present tune, but I would say a good 10 to 15 hp would be left on the table.

I agree, with 234/242 @.050 112lsa compared to the cam you have I'm sure there would be a little more tuning would give you.
