Question about the 1LE aluminum driveshaft.

I just put one on my '94 with an A4, and I notice now that I have a vibration at 65mph. There was a big weight on the stock steel driveshaft, should I take it off the stock one and put it on the aluminum one? Also, I assumed that the new driveshaft came balanced, am I right about that?

Yes, a new driveshaft should be balanced. You might try re-indexing it to the pinion yoke. IOW, take the d/s out of the pinion yoke, rotate it 180° and put the d/s back on.

Thanks for the reply, I'll try doing it today. Should I not worry about the weight from the other one?

No, you should not be swapping any weights from one to another.
