Question Bank one running rich

Hello, I did a search on this, still not sure: But i threw a light, got it scanned and was told i was running rich on Bank one- Where do you suggest i check for possible leaks, headers,- hoses, or another sensor causing it or is it just a bad o2 sensor. I had that very o2 sensor replaced about two years ago. Thanks in advance for any help--Dwayne

I had that EXACT same problem about 4 months ago. Turned out my personal situation had four contributing factors. First, one of my plug wires got slowly severed from a pulley rubbing against it (couldn't see this without removing pieces in the engine bay). Second, my new mac headers (at the time) melted one of my 02 sensor housings. Third, my friend who helped me install the headers installed an 02 sim only on bank 2, which I'm sure seriously fugged up A/F ratio. Fourth was rags in my lifter valley left by a faulty shop. hope this helps somehow. Also, check for arcing.
