hi i have a 94z m6 and 50kmiles . she has being missing at around 5-5.4k pretty bad i dont know what it is and i changed the intake elbow cuz it was torn and i hope its not the opti.
the wires and plugs are stock (u think is time to change them?) could it be the plugs?

Plugs/wires, I bet you money it is. Also get the elbow changed, thats creating a vacuum leak that could be creating a bit of a miss...but at 50k its plugs/wires.

Do a search, you will find everythign you need. Get TGK TR55 from somewhere like thunderracing.com...and gap them at .050. I got Taylor wires, work good.

 

thanks , my dad works with splitfire (he sells to latin america) so i get their sruff free i got a monster tach/shift light,amp meter and oil temp meter and wires. i know the wires are good but what about the plugs ive heard they arent that good

Has your opti ever gotten wet or does your waterpump leak at all... my 4500-5500 miss was the opti... new opti and it ran like a CHAMP!

 

man it might have gotten wet but cuz she is only 50k miles old i hope its coil or plugs .
i hate my car right now it feels like im gonna break something when it misses its really loud sometimes i dont go there anymore im scared of even accelerating. are misses bad for the car?
