who uses their K&N filter??

who uses their K&N filter??

was wondering if n e 1 uses a Cone air filter from any one, or leaves it off if they have a CAI like moroso or K&N?
cause i thoiught about taking mine out since nothing never goes up in the air duct? please let me know

I usally just put it on from the bottom. Its a pain in the ***, I just shove it on and bolt up the under splash guard. So its prety much wedged between the splash guard and the big lip on top of the filter make it wedged on the car. Been doing this for 3 years now, havent had any problem.

i have one, its just hard to tkae out ya know?
but i was wondering if i remove the filter cause i hate oiling the damn thing, and jsut run the CAI with no filter?> can this cause n e problems?>

Well, it might just cause ring and cylinder wall abrasion from the fine dust and grit that floats around in the air. Some of that grit can find its way into the oil... bearing wear....

NEVER run the engine for extended periods of time without an efficient air filter.
