How should i break in my new cam?

 

What cam and what motor is it in? Need a little more info.

If it is a hydraulic roller cam there is no breakin period, except for adjustment of the valvetrain to make sure its good.
If its a regular hydraulic , I allways run it around 2000 to 2500 rpm for a good 10 minutes 2 or 3 times, then change the oil.
