I just want an all around good shock, will have 1LE springs and sway bars with bmr subframe connectors/LCA's, I have an slp strut tower brance and MTI panhard rod. I like that the Blisteins come with a lifetime warrenty...
I'll put in a good word for bilstein... they ride IMO better than my stock decarbon shocks but sacrifice NO performance. All-around it's a very good shock. My brother liked how mine felt so he went with bilsteins in his 5.0 and they are working perfectly in his car too.

KYBs, only because you change adjust them for street, road coarse, of soft for a strip launch. Can't really beat that.

The HD Bilsteins are a much better choice - plus they can be rebuilt or revalved to your application.
FWIW, I gave my AGX's to a good friend of mine and shortly after he installed them mentioned that he thought his 75k worn out stock shocks did a better job.
Tell ya what, I have 3-way adjustable Comp Engineering Drag Shocks out back, and I think they're the schnizit compared to the KYB's I did have out back, but all folks are different, and I bought them mostly to tune for 1/4 mile.
Can't go wrong w/Billstein's
