Jethot Headers are IN and passenger went in from BOTTOM!!
Ahhh yes it is truly a good feeling running your car with open headers. As far as the install went it was fairly easy just really time consuming. Took me about 2 days to pull the y-pipe, starter, alternator and belt. That includes the night tryin to back the car into the garage(In a foot of snow due to Minnesota Winter) and get it jacked up to about 2-2 1/2 feet. FYI when trying to turn the bolts in the manifold and the y-pipe use wd-40 and a breaker bar!!(a pipe). Much easier to crank the bolts loose. After that it took me one night to get the oil filter off(The dealership torgued that sucker on TIGHT!!)and get both manifolds out. After that Chris Bailey from Minnesota F-Body club came to help out with the headers getting in and really it went pretty smooth. Drivers side we had to disassemble to motor mount and remove it. After that with the eingine to the cowl it slide in fairly easily. Then to the passenger side. With the motor mount undone and the engine jacked up to the cowl the header went in as smooth as warm butter on toast
. Got it all buttoned up with new plug wires, spark plugs, oil+filter that night and after chargin the battery she fired right up. BTW BIG thanks to Chris for helping with the install and I'm looking forward to spring and hanging out with the F-body club. Also thanks to the board and the header install guides out there you guys helped me out a bunch and were a great tool to answer all of my questions!!
