Nu-Tek Motorsports

I still cannot get in touch with anyone at Nu-Tek. I have been waiting app.11 months for Nick to finish a LT4 engine longblock. I just want to know where he is at with my engine. Good news or bad news , I need to know. If bad, at least lets talk about it and my options. My car is down and out till I get this engine. Is anyone planning on stopping by Nick's shop soon. I would like for someone to check for me if they are going to stop over soon. Not knowing the state of my engine is killing me! No one should be left in the dark with phones and e-mail available. I just want to get this project on my Z finished in time for spring. Thanks.

My son lives just down the road in Lima,Oh(about 50 miles) and is going to stop by either tomorrow or friday see if he can get a hold of Nick. I'll ask him to see what is up with your motor IF any one is at Nu-Tek and that is a big IF. He has stopped by a number of times in the last month or so and the place is always locked up and on one around. that could mean that Nick is just out to lunch or picking up a part who fing knows
but I'll see what I can do for ya.

Classic casualty of growing too fast. Although I would not count him out yet...he sounds like he needs to step back and evaluate his game plan, and contact everyone who has put down hard earned money for his work and let them know the real situation. Most folks would understand I'm sure.

He needs to step up, alert his customers and give them the option of a refund for work not performed, or a new target date when folks can expect their engines. Immediately.

it really sucks because I'm in the same boat...heard nothing but good things about Nu-tek and their strokers, now the company is going down. I think he needs to hire some additional help, FAST.

Magius231...If you want the number to the lawyer I got starting a case against Nu-tek, let me know. Like Demon SS stated in one of his posts about this situation with NUTEK ...."the more" people we can get to build a case against him "the merrier". As far as I know there are 4 of us in the same boat, and Im sure theres more people that we dont know about.

Hes had that chance with me already...he left me with no options. When he first stopped contact with me and I had to drive all the way to OH from FL (Im mexSSican on the ImpalaSS forum) over 1200 MILES!!! to speak with him, you would think he'd straighten up and keep his word of staying in contact with me, and keep his word about when the motor would be done, but he didnt. He only replied to 1 email and then nothing afterwards. I just got tired of leaving him messages that I knew would not get returned. Like I said, he left me no other option, now I want my $$$ back with interest.

Yeah, I read that whole thread, and I felt optimistic for a moment. Sorry to hear of your situation, and I hope it all works out.

Like I said, he needs to make things right with customers who've laid out hard earned cash, one way or another.

His great work will mean nothing if his character and reputation are in the toilet.

Its a classic example of spending other peoples money on yourself and counting on future income to do the work allready paid for......now there will be little future income so I would recommend getting in line on the lawsuit to get a judgement on getting your money back.
