no he said it looked "deserted" when he got there. he knows the truck but it was not in the lot, but he banged on the door anyway.

wow, i guess i was a lucky one then, I started tearing my car apart in about june 03 and placed the order to Nu-Tek for a 383 stroker short block, i gave him about two months and called to check. the first couple of times i got thru, talking to his desk assistant, and heard everything was coming along. I couldn't get him on the phone or email for a long time, and heard that from him later that his secretary had some family problems and had to quit, but after about 5 months er so i got a call from him saying it was done and drove up there myself to get my short block. It was superb work, and is well and running in my car right now, waiting on break in period and final tune.
When i was up there though the only people there were Steve and Nick...thats it, no one else was there working, his email had a virus, and no assistant to answer the phone. He had like 6 or 7 blocks in the floor wrapped up for work and 2 other shortblocks done besides mine. Nick's work IS awsome, but i've never heard of waiting 2 years! Christ! I consider myself lucky i suppose.
