Will Nitto 315's fit on stock ws6 rims?

The question states itself, there are 315/35/17 nittos, I was just wondering if they will fit on the stock rim, I found them for 167$ +shipping, if anyone finds any better let me know, any advice is helpful!
thanks

You can make them fit on there, but they don't work as well as a 275/40 does. The narrow rim makes the tire shape undesirable - and dangerous. You are much better off, from a performance and safety standpoint, to go with the 275s, or get some 11" wide rims...

good luck,
Shane

You can mount them but I'd be worried about them rolling off the rim!!

285's will work on the 9" wheel, but 315's are too wide. 275 is actually the widest you should run on a 9" wheel technically, but the 285 is just a tad wider.

What happens when you run a tire that is too wide for the wheel is the tire cups, and you don't get the full tread on the ground. So you end up with an effectively narrower tire, that weighs more, and will require less than optimal air pressure to work. Even then it will not wear evenly.
