Hey you guys with the B&M Supercooler...how much oil does the darn thing hold? I also read that to drain and refil a stock tranny held 5 qts. But after an overhaul it holds 10.8. Is that right? Why?

 

When I put in my new tranny and installed the B&M cooler at the same time and a TCI converter it took 12 quarts total.

 

simply pulling the trans pan and changing the filter/fluid does not drain the torque convertor (which holds alot of fluid)

i dont remember exactly, i have a deeper pan, tranny cooler, and a PI 9.5 TC but the easiest way is to use the add,check,add,check method

is everyone elses A4 tranny fluid dipstick hard as heck to read????
its like mine streaks half way up.....

That and also mine never closes all the way. It's always like 1/3" out.
