G2 cold air intake

how come most guys in here don't like the G2 cold air intake, i thought it kinda looked great especially with the blue silicone hose piece, also i kinda like it because it dosen't go in the fender like the rest, is it really that bad??? i didn't buy it yet, but im thinking about it.

I thought I remember reading somewhere that it wasn't much different from the stock unit and that it doesn't offer the gains that say the SLP or Moroso CAI do.

I second that Bastardcat, it looks like a stock unit. Maybe the diameter of the intake is wider, but that dont mean much if your sucking in your hot engine air. Its a proven fact, the colder air is at the bottom of the car. Which is why all the cold air intakes that make a diffrence bend and throw the cone filter all the way at the bottom of the fender. Lowest point of the car.

I have it and I love it.. Ya it is better than stock, not as good as others, but for under 40 bucks why not.. They are dirt cheap used...
