to gain more room to install longtube headers, would it be possible to take loose both motor mounts, and move the engine over tworards the passenger side about 4-5 inches or so?? as far as it will go to bolt the header to the head?? the car is up on a lift.

 

Most people do that already. Did you do a search on the topic?

 

i don't mean jack the engine up,,i mean actually slide it over to the left (if ur facing the car) just a few inches
