im looking for a new exhaust and wondering which is better? slp loudmouth or the hooker exhaust systems? or are the any other good ones.

 

It depends on your budget. I would personally recommend SLP Two-on-the-left (2OTL), sounds awesome and flows very well. It is priced right too.

to answer your question slp's is better due to it being made of stainless(quailty)Now for sound thats different.Flow wise you are not going to see a hell of a difference.

 

The loudmouth is all around loud. Very loud. The hooker has a nice rumble at idle, but at WOT opens up and sounds very aggressive. You can hear it on my car when I went to the dyno:

The other things you might need to consider is getting a stainless steel system, such as the loudmouth, if you live in rust prone areas.

I personally like the sound of the hooker much better than the loudmouth...

It depends on your future plans. I originally didnt plan on modding my car much and I wanted to have a mean sounding car so I got the loudmouth. That quickly changed so now I basically had to go buy a different system because I wanted headers. If you plan on modding your car (headers) I think you should go with the hooker system.

 

loud mouth is louder and probably a tiny bit more flow. Hooker sounds better. Its a matter of oppinion
