Check the sight window on the pressure side, if you see bubbles in the window, you need freon added, but that also means you may have a leak.

well here we go again my specialty......put it on the guages you should have around 250psi on the high side and 35 on the low side if not trouble shoot from there is compressor coming on if not low pressure or to high pressure will make it shut off. if pressure is high could be expansion valve, blocked evap, condensor restricted, compressor shot , but before all this you need to find out what the pressures are and go from there

well go to a shop and have them put the guages on the valves or buy them yourself and check it but if you are not experinced with this i say trake it to the shop if you hook it up wrong not pretty site well if you are going to charge it because when you fill it you have to charge on the low side if you charge on the high side the can will explode in your face, i suggest you take it to a shop for this to be done if you have never messed with this i went to school for A/C systems and i seen the aftermath of an exploded can because of improper filling procedures , well someone did the hand delete mod

my car has blowin warm air thru the A/C twice since ive had it.... once last summer and just did it again today. both times i was just going a couple of miles before i shut the car off, the next time i got back in it the A/C worked again and this was maybe 10 mine or less later. today my warm A/C coincided with DTC 41.. i dont know if the 2 are related or how they could be but i have never got that code before today.

Cool

Bring it to one of the franchise auto stores when they run the $29.95 AC special.

They'll guage it and let you know what's up.

If you don't know what to do let someone with the equipment do an evacuate and recharge while checking the evaporator, line junction, compressor, condensor...

Check your fuses just for the heck of it.

I had warm air problem with my wife's Volvo and it just turned out to be a high pressure switch.

Screwed it in, attached electrical connector and; voila, cold air!
