Hopefully some of the guys that have it will post in here for you...I don't know the specifics as far as lift/duration etc...I just know it builds MAJOR power...and will get you into the 11's...

hmm sounds good to me, so Stock LT1, plus that cam, and roller rockers, and definetly valve springs and retainers would get me into the 11's? sheesh everyone bad mouths LT1's it sounds like an LS1...

Thanks

Not with stock heads you wont get into the 11's. I think there were 3 cars running 11's with stock heads and they were/are MAJOR exceptions..

Good heads, decent cam, LT's, exhaust 1.6's, traction, suspension, gears, tuning and a really good driver with an M6 should get you there.

I would suggest you do ALOT of research before you dive into this, I would have saved myself alot of money in the process when I first started out modding.

There are a few guys running 11's on stock heads, but he is right you'll want to port and polish those heads...Oh and I forgot to mention a COMPLETE exhaust which includes replacing the manifolds back...

LT1s are solid cars. Full exhaust, 12-bolt rear w/ slicks, heads and cam will easily get you in the 11s. If I were to do it again, I'd buy most of my stuff used like headers and cat-back. Watch your wallet and find good deals and you can get way ahead of the game.
