M6 tranny not going into gear

I have the t56 tranny and I noticed that when I try to put into gear sometimes I cannot put it into gear. the car has 72,000 miles and has not had a clutch replaced. Could this be a pilot bearing going bad. Please let me know on advice.

PS I can hear sometimes clicking when clutch pedal is depressed don't know if it the throw out bearing.

Thanks Mark Tisdale

Is it every gear or specific gears?

will it always go into gear when the car is off? if so, it very well could be the slave/master cylinders.

It happens when I am at a stop light and just playing the shifter and putting it into second. I will back it out of the gate and put in back into gear and it will go in.

i am not sure what to tell you. mine does that every once in a while too. actually, since i put honda atf in there, it hasn't done it yet. i think my synchros are bad with 110K on them. i don't know if the throw out bearing can cause these problems or not. some people also had problems with a clutch spring breaking and this made the car not want to shift sometimes.
