Will 18inch Z06's with a +56mm offset look good all around on a T/A

Just what the title says, I am thinking about buying a set of 18's all around for my T/A with a +56mm offset. Will these look good, and what would be a good tire choice?

Thanks,
James

IMO I dont think Z06 rims would look too good on a TA. I would get some Firehawks, for 18" I'd get C-5's. Thats just me. Everyone has there opinions on how it would look.

SStrokerAce just put 17 x 9.5 Z06 (aftermarket) wheels which he had painted the correct Z06 color on his black 2000 SS. He painted the stock SS center caps the same color. With red calipers it looks surprisingly good. IMO, it's an improvement over the silver SS 10-spokes.

It does look a little strange when he puts the silver TA 16 inch wheels with DR's on the rear for the strip!

I think it would look pretty good. I put 17's on my Z and I love them. I was afraid to go with 18's. I have heard that the smaller the side wall is, the harder it is to get traction. Plus I have never seen a set of drag radials for 18's.

My car isn't a TA but I can send you a pic if it would help your decision. Just shoot me an e-mail if you want one. I think they will look great. I have always been partial to getting a factory looking wheel instead of a custom looking one.

Click the link in my sig and click on Brian's T/A. He has 18x9.5 Z06 Chrome rims. Not sure of his offset, but I think they're +56mm. Either way, they look ****ing good.
