alright so I pulled the CAI off my old car that I wrecked and put it into my new car. But 1 problem that occured was that I forgot to pull that little bracket that connects to the body off to hold the CAI Tube in. Does anybody have one of these just lying around, or know where I could find one?

 

Pretty sure you can get ahold of K&n and they will send you one cheap or free. If you are talking about that piece that bolts to the car and the main tube slips through, I am pretty sure that you don't need that part. But then again I have no idea what part you are talking about.

 

yep that's the piece i'm talking about. I want it because it might keep some of that engine grime off of it, plus the CAI tube is really loose sitting there without it.

 

you could just take a piece of strap steel and bend it in a 90 degree angle l__ then drill and bolt it to the body where that plastic bracket went then put a hose clamp around the intake tube and around the piece of strap that is sticking up to hold it tight.
