i recently purchased a 93 z from a guy in my town. the car is in neer perfect condition with the exception of a few scratches, motor runs good too, except for a small flat spot when u mash down on the gas. i took it in to a well recomended shop to give it a tune up, something i like to do to all vehicles i buy after giving it a tune up the shop said that the motor purred like a kitten and that the flat spot came from the transmission not shifting right. my question is , does that sound right to u guys and if so know any good tranny shops in midwest iowa.
