If I received a new "HOTCAM" that was ground...

"ADVANCED" how can this be fixed?, can the timing just be moved back via the pcm or is a new cam needed. The stock chain was used and the dots lined up, Bryan at pcmforless thinks this is my problem? Any thoughts, he has backed alot of timing out and it still detonates, has almost 11:1 compression, fuel is good, the scanner 02's are in the 900's

I thought all LT1 cams had 4 degrees of advance ground into them.

yes the lsa is different and puts more advace into...

the cam's profile, but Bryan at pcmforless.com says he thinks I may have got a bad cam that was ground way advanced, so he is pulling major timing and adding fuel to the pcm now??? It detonates all the time.
