Is there a way to enable wildcards for searches? This would make it easier to search for information like milling heads, where a topic title could be:

"Need advice on milling heads"

or

"What to mill heads to"


Also, consider a search for an XE 224/230 cam. Just searching for "224" will fail to pick up posts with titles like "224/230" or "XE224/230" .

Any thoughts on this?

 

We'd like to, but a bunch of searching with that method would bring this site to a crawl.

I dunno if we can make the change without hurting site performance a great deal. Maybe Frezza will chime in.
