Why can't we edit topic line?

Why can't we edit topic line?
It seems on only a couple rooms we can edit our topic lines so that it appears on the main page. Not just in the thread it self.
Can that be fixed? Or is it a big deal? I'm not sure if I've tried to mess w/ that on my local boards. -So I don't know what it entails. (YABB)

You can edit it a certain amount of time for corrections after it is posted (couple of minutes or so). However, after that it cannot be edited because if people kept changing their thread title, it would be very confusing for people who are following it.

Ah.. gotcha.. I wanted to add something to my Exhaust Reviews topic line.. "Post your setup"..
