Where to post???

Shouldn't there be a board that deals with general questions that are not generation specific? Something on the order of:

General Engine
Transmission
Suspension

These topics can be combined into one board, "General Engine / Transmission / Driveline / Suspension" if necessary. Currently, the "Advanced" board is the only one that combines all generations, but it cannot be used for "non-advanced" topics that are general in nature.

I have a question regarding transmission temperature gauge sender location but don't know where to post it. Please advise.

If it is say, for example, a question regarding a transmission temperature gauge sender for a third gen car, you would post it in the third gen section.

If it is say, for example, a question regarding a transmission temperature gauge sender for a third gen car, you would post it in the third gen section.

That doesn't work because the question is so general in nature that it would apply to TH350, TH400, 700R4 and 4L80E. Posting on a generation-specific board severely limits exposure of my "general" question -- most fourth gen owners would never see the question, one that might know the answer. So do I post four times on every generation board? This is THE reason why there needs to be a General Engine board.

And your response to my suggestion for a General Engine board is??? Just trying to make this site better!!
