I've noticed that I'll view something and the number of views won't change. Not that it's a big deal or anything...just letting y'all know.

Hm...I am thinking that it knows you have already viewed it and doesn't count it more than once. Could that be the case?

No, it only changes by one view when someone posts in it. But then a little while later, the number of views will have jumped a whole bunch.

Thats part of how V-bulliten works, at least it was in the 2.x versions. View counts were written to a temporary table and every once in a while, that table was purged and actual counts were updated. This keeps down on server load.
