SO this new Report Post button, does a user get warnings or something if their post is reported? Dont u think it could be abused?

Just curious i searched the site news and other parts of this board didnt see anything bout this new feature

It's not new to this site in the least... the function has been there for almost as long as I can recall, really.

It just sends an email to the admins and mods of that forum.

 

I've never noticed it before! And I agree, some do not have a thick skin at all.

Shortly after, JasonD will notice the calling and immediately suspend his game of ultimate Frisbee. Jumping in his CamaroZ28-mobile, he speeds to the nearest computer terminal where the troublesome post will be destroyed. Making the world safe from poop jokes, politics, and states of undress.

 

And WHERE exactly was that exclamation mark located before???? I never knew where it was??? (damnit, feel like a nOOb!! )

 

It was in the same place. Probably right where the "R" is now.

 

The report a post link (which is the red exclamation point) has always been here. It's located under the users avatar (if they have one), next to the red or green dot (that show's if they are online).

 

It isn't an exclamation point anymore.

 

Your right, Jason must have changed it very recently. Now it says REPORT!
