Refining the "search" feature?

Would it be any way possible to refine the search feature in VB3? What I would like to see is an option to exclude boards rather than choose one. I hate searching for say "T56 bolts" and I get a jack load of threads from the "For Sale" section when im really looking for either specifications or how to pull them out. Any way this can be made possible? Thanks.

Re: Refining the "search" feature?

Its mostly the for sale sections I want to exclude, its very hard to get tech information when you got a bunch of "LT1 for sale" "Shifter for sale" "Clutch for sale" They actually take up 85% of the damn results. Thanks.

Re: Refining the "search" feature?

I hope I am understanding this...

Just go to the Advanced search,
http://web.camaross.com/forums/search.php?

and select the forums that you want to search in, and don't select the ones you don't want to search in.

Hold your CTRL key when selecting more than one forum to search in.

Hope this helps.

Re: Refining the "search" feature?

Ahhh, had no idea you could ctrl click the forums. I thought you could only do one at a time. That will work. I was aware of searching in a particular forum, however sometimes the information is in other forums because of misposts or say LS1 tech would have the same transmission information and it was a pain doing one at a time. Thanks Jason.
