A recommendation feature?
You know sort of like some Yahoo boards where if you see a post you agree with, rather than quoting it and saying the same thing, just click a button to give that post a rec.

Speaking of your post in the Lounge...
Second, there's no need to make remarks about the flood control. It is necessary and everyone is much happier with it than if they were without it. Read the FAQ, it is explained there.
Third and back to the question, can you please give me an example of what you are looking for? I don't use Yahoo boards so I am not familiar with it.
