Question about supporting vendors

I was thinking about posting a link to a free utility I made on the forum, since its free and a peice of software and not parts for a car i'd assume I wouldnt need to be a supporting vendor, however I do have ads on my website that pay me. my question is, would it be ok for me to post a link here or would I need to be a supporting vendor?

I can't see how that could be a problem based on your post, but e-mail me the details anyway...maybe we can help each other out.

Thanks for the consideration!

Now that you've seen the site, do you see any problems with me linking people to that when they ask how to calculate DCR or something else contained within the calculator?

Got your e-mail, sorry I haven't managed to reply to it. There is no problem with that, as long as you don't spam. Thanks for making that program.

It would be cool if you included a note in the ZIP file with a link to this site, but that is just a request/suggestion.

I also had some other ideas that were kinda cool that would promote your program a bit more, help everyone out. I'll try to reply tonight when I get home from work.

I plan to include a listing of where all I hang out on the page itself as well, I just included the mustang chatroom for now because It was the first place I promoted it, the idea for the note in the zip would be a good idea too I will probably add that whenever I get home from school.
