what if as warning you could limit their accounts or something. and have it preset to levels. so like on the first offense like you take away some of their post could, and limit their PMs, and like on the second, you ban the from the section and the third you ban them entirely? and like since they would be present, the mod can like check a box next to their name in the mods interface (or whatever its called).

 

A good theory, but the bottom line is this site is not for people who act like children, and they all agree to the rules when making an account. If they cannot follow them, that is not our problem and it is not our job to babysit people and give them a "time out". That only teaches them that they can be a jackass, and then wait a while and then do it again. We have no place for people like that here. This site is for grown-ups. If people cannot act accordingly, they need to find another site to be a waste on.
