I've noticed in the bottom status bar that page loads are hanging/waiting for "Prstats.postrelease.com" to finishing loading before it loads a new page. It doesn't load ANYTHING on the page (just a white page) while it waits to load (index??).

It doesn't seem to matter if it's a new post, a reply, or just viewing a post. It seems to take about 30 seconds for the page to load, while I wait. I can get around it by hitting stop, and then refresh. It doesn't seem to re-load it on a refresh.

If you need my system stats, please let me know. I can also try and post a screen shot of it (white page, with "prestat.postrelase.com" in the status bar) if you need it.

Thanks, will definitely check into it. Does it happen all the time or just sometimes? Anyone else noticing this?

 

noticed the same thing - got annoying so I just adblocked it

 

I haven't noticed a pattern yet. It seems quite random for now.

 

It just happened, and took about 25 seconds before it finished loading the page. I took a screen shot for you (it was "prstats", not "Prestats" like I thought).

Edit: It also happened when I made this post. It seems to be hanging on script: "http://prstats.postrelease.com/PRStats.js" as that is the only "prstats" item trying to load when the page hangs.

 

Good info. I believe that I have fixed this. If anyone continues to experience the same problem, please post here with info.
