Wink one itty bitty suggestion

I think the top red banner's 35th should randomly change

I mean, all the pictures can be tinted red to match the banner.

But I think each time you log on, or refresh, it'd be cool to see a 35th like now, or the back of a nice SS, the front of a trans am, and even some classic muscle shots.

How about it? its purely for aesthetics.

Haha I always have to scroll the banner of my screen since it makes people who walk by my cube second glance. It would be cool if they had a bland work safe theme u could select for the message boards you go to

The bland idea is a good one.

People are always trying to read my screen and I'm constantly hitting the minimize button!

BUT, I think we're asking too much here, the board is great this way, I love the upgrade...don't change a thing.

Exclamation

Pay attention. The banner is stationary, it has it's own frame, it does not refresh. They would have to make it part of the page like the old UBB, and even then I don't think you could without taking up lots of bandwidth. Unless they can set the frame to reset everytime you refresh.

I just noticed that if you refresh the entire topic summary, then the image does refresh, but the red still stays there. But on any sub-page, like inside a thread, or posting a reply, it does not refresh.

Fool...haven't the ricers taught you anything?

RED = FAST

How do you expect the admins to be able to support all your avatars and ing without the speed the RED provides? I'm sure they'd opt for the even better performance of yellow, but then you'd whine about not being able to read it.

(BTW, I could also do with slightly less "Red-ness" )

Hahahahahaha! You lack confidence in your sensei, grasshoppers.

We are one step a head of ALL of these suggestions.

BUT, we gotta take things one thing at a time.

nope

Regardless, all they'd have to do is have a server side script that would fetch a random image from a collection, and copy it to the main file that the frame uses as the picture. They could cronjob this script to run every 5 minutes or so.

Just a suggestion. :P

and btw: the banner is not stationary for me, does not have its own frame, and it does refresh.

weird.
