Ok, I just tried the feature on my home computer (which is using IE6) and I don't have any issues.

I am now having the same problem mdacton is having. I have never had this problem until I deleted my browsers history the other day and re logged into my user name. I have found that it only does this for the first time that I try to use the "new post" feature and then it doesn't give me a problem after that. If anyone has figured out the cause let us know.

I might have figured it out. I changed my browsing history setting under Internet Options from
Check for newer versions of stored pages: Automatically to
Check for newer versions of stored pages: Evertime I visit the webpage.

This seemed to stop the problem I was having.

Sorry, jumped the gun. I am still having the same problem. It worked for me for about 5 tries and then went back to the same response of having to wait for 20 sec. before searching again.
