I petition a "Dislike" button to go along with it. It's only fair.

We are actively working on this, as mentioned in the other thread. What browser and OS are you using when you experience this?

I know a lot of people don't like the facebook link and I am not fond of it, but every site seems to have it anymore and it will direct more traffic here. So, the positives out rank the negative here. More traffic the better, as it will keep this site going.

lets take a pole then.

just to see who has used it compared to who has not. i dont care if it does not change anything, but i want to see just how many people actually have used it.

Good luck trying to poll the entire Internet, because you don't need to be a member of this site to use it.

I use it often and if you are a Facebook user, you should to. It is not going away, but depending on the level of information that people provide, we will definitely fix it. That is what we are trying to do, but if people complain about it yet don't answer our simple question about what they are seeing and what browser and OS they are using, it won't speed up the process any.

Re: The facebook "like" feature blocks...

If you're using a browser that supports "Ad Block", you can enter the following sites to "block" the Facebook "like" feature (this will block it on all sites, not just CZ28):

http://lifehacker.com/#!5542041/bloc...h-adblock-plus
These four separate filters for AdBlock+ made it so not even the Facebook Privacy Scanner could see that I was logged into Facebook:

||facebook.com^$domain=~facebook.com|~facebook.net |~fbcdn.com|~fbcdn.net

||facebook.net^$domain=~facebook.com|~facebook.net |~fbcdn.com|~fbcdn.net

||fbcdn.com^$domain=~facebook.com|~facebook.net|~f bcdn.com|~fbcdn.net

||fbcdn.net^$domain=~facebook.com|~facebook.net|~f bcdn.com|~fbcdn.net
...but please remember to white list other Ads on the site, as they keep CZ28 going strong.

Re: The facebook "like" feature blocks...

Did some lightening of the code. Someone please test and let me know if it fixes the problem of it running into the page numbers.

I'd also like to request that if you really do like a thread and are a Facebook user, please take a split second and actually hit the like button. It helps the site reach out to new people...and those people are who are on YOUR Facebook friend list. So, you are providing a great invite to your friends and you are helping your favorite site grow.
