Expired Token?

Started getting this recently when I try to do a search from the Lounge:

Your submission could not be processed because the token has expired.

Please push the back button and reload the previous window.
This is on Firefox 3. Haven't checked to see if I get them in IE. It seems to happen after I've had the Lounge open for a while. Also, reloading the page doesn't work, I have to actually go back to a different page and click on a link to get back to the Lounge, then it will work.

Is this a browser issue or a possible site issue? I unfortunately don't know taht much about how queries are processed on messageboard's.

Are you in a situation where your account automatically logs you out after a certain amount of time?

Nope, I have it set to remember me, I haven't logged in in months.

Didn't think so. Could be a fluke. Did you leave a quick reply or an edit box open for a long period of time by any chance?

Nope, it's happened 4 times now over the last week so it's not a one time thing. I haven't left any scripted boxes open or anything like that. It only seems to happen when I've had the same lounge page up for a while(refreshing it obviously but otherwise not moving) and then I try to do a quick search.

Very strange indeed. Maybe I'll clear my cache/cookies out and see if it still does it.

Still happening, and this was on my desktop, not my laptop. Not sure why this isn't happening to anyone else.

Pretty weird. Does it happen with the regular reply or only quick reply?

I figured out it's just my browser for some reason. I don't know why, but it's started doing it on other forums. So you don't need to worry over this one anymore Jason, since I know it was keeping you up at night.

I actually encountered this myself last night/this morning and thought about this thread.

I went to subscribe to a thread last night but didn't complete the process and let it sit on the confirmation page. I woke up this morning and noticed that I didn't click the button to complete the process and got the same or similar warning.

Sounds like your browser is forgetting the cookies/token for some reason long before it needs to. I'd disable any plugins, etc. for a while and see if it still happens.
