Classifieds

I like the new format and all the new functions but it's missing a ttt feature. Im sure you guys could program a limit to once every 24 hours or something. I post ads here and if there not seen in the first day i might as well forget trying to sell it. I've sold tons of stuff in a matters of 2-3 days and now it's like 2-3 weeks. I like how you can post pics, and ahve more organized posting but stuff just isn't being seen. Thanks

Adam

Re: Classifieds

It still has the search feature, which is nice, but when I search for cam, every camaro for sale also comes up. Is there any way to adjust this?

Re: Classifieds

Is there anyway to compare traffic between the old and new systems? The new section seems really slow. I had very little interest in the items I had for sale. I also brouse the classifieds only once or so a week now, compared to multiple times a day before. I think its making it much harder for everyone to sell items, I know its slowed down me buying items.

Do a search for cam while IN the Powertrain Parts category.

It is definitely not slow. As of right now, there are 2,495 items in the system with 240,927 total views.

Nope, I answered it with the link in my post.

"For example, one person posts a part for sale, and then one minute later someone else goes into their thread that they posted a week ago and bumps it to the top, pushing everyone else's down...including the one that was posted just a minute before. It just wasn't fair."

All very good points, guys, and we are making sure we pay close attention to what everyone says about this and take all comments into consideration.

Re: Classifieds

is there any way to search for ads that you have responded to, but aren't yours? When I search for my username, all I see is ads I have posted.

Re: Classifieds

this format = trash. I used to always check the classifieds, but now i barely ever check them. true you can use the search button, but i've boughten things off this site when i wasn't really looking for them. so in that case the search button won't help. bc then you have to search for things that you know you need, but you cant just browse etc hoping to find a good deal on future needed parts etc.

Re: Classifieds

I like the new setup, but I wish I could I could press a button and look at everything automotive for sale, not broken down into categories.
