archive section

I originally put this idea forward in the LT1 section but it would be a good idea for all sections. SO how about archival sections for LTx and LSx respectively, that would contain really important threads that are loaded w/ useful info. legendary threads such as the "cylinder head misconceptions" thread (https://www.camaroz28.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=411824). threads -info, wisdom and experience, that will other wise fade away. we can put them all into one easy to find place for everyone to read and new members to stumble across.
so how about it? we can create stickies in the LTx, and LSx sections for nominations of what threads to add to the archives from yester-years and long gone members.

A good idea. Management of them is the tough part.

What needs to happen is someone needs to volunteer to be a custodian of one "master thread" and add links with brief descriptions to the other threads. That way, it is a one-stop thread for someone to read for reference. This master thread would be the sticky, and other members would post in it suggesting that other "legendary threads" get added to it, and the thread master would edit the first post in the thread accordingly. It is easier to manage that way and easier for people to suggest threads to be added to it.

an even better idea! awesome! I spend long distances of time away from my computer so I wouldn't be a very good candidate I'm sure some one will step up to the plate and volunteer tho. maybe start a thread in the lounge about it?
