Archive area?

There are a lot of very old threads on the board, with many going back to 2003 in the LT1 section for example. Basically it was the recent upbringing of old threads in the lounge had me thinking this.

I dont know if the space would allow it, but how about say, duplicating the site(or add another section to the board) with older (archived) threads in the sections. You can not post replies to these threads, but can certainly reference/link to them, in new posts. Maybe put everything that's older than two years in the archives.

I would say delete these older threads, but there can be some useful information in them like in the tech sections. Almost 4000 pages in LT1 tech there has to be something good in there.

just something to put in your heads and maybe toss around

Trying to follow along here...if they shouldn't be deleted, why shouldn't they be replied to?
