90seconds to 60 seconds?
90seconds to 60 seconds?
Just a suggestion since more and more of us are running high speed connections could we knock that 90 second rule down to 60? If I remember right it was done to keep a bunch of useless posts from being posted and a lot of that seems to be cut out since there is no more post count in the lounge. If you type fast and have high speed internet that really gets on the nerves especially as of late.
I dont understand what the big deal is. I hit flood control once and that was because I realized I posted something in the wrong forum, and copy pasted it in the correct forum.
****, im all for increasing it to 3 minutes to cut down on pointless crap posts.

Being on broadband you will get that more. I will post in one thread and then be looking in another and post and I have to wait to post. No biggie, I sit and wait. I does get annoying if your text gets deleted though, then I will just not post. lol.

Increasing it to three minutes would be TERRIBLE...once you get caught up on a post if you've got a fast internet connection and can type fairly quick (I type about 90wpm) I can type a whole paragraph five or so sentences and it'll still block me...its not horribly important, but its just a little annoying...
Flood control protects the board. Sorry, but it is necessary.
There won't be any flood control changes in the near future. I wish Chris and I didn't have to keep addressing this time and time again with th same answer.
Sorry.
