Zaino Z-18 Clay vs. Sonus Block clay ?

Over the years, I've gone through 2 containers of Zaino Z-18 Clay and find the same problem. It's VERY STIFF and REALLY difficult to mold to find another clean area.

I seen a product online called "Sonus Block clay" which also has 2 bars but are LARGER (2 X 100gram bars compared to zaino's 112grams for BOTH bars). Apparently the Sonus Block clay is also softer and easier to mold.

Has anyone here tried this?

There are only two or three clay manufacturers in the world. There are some minor differences in clay "brands," but nothing major.

Do you store your clay indoors? It's much easier to work with when it's warm.

i agree with above. when i do cars in the winter the claybars tend to get stiff. my remedy has been to cruise over to the garage heater with it and warm it up... usually loosens right up.
