Post Zaino story, read.

well i put to coats of Zaino on my uncles Lexus LS430 about 2 months ago and about a week ago he backed into his daughters jeep. so he took it to get fixed and the sales man said he had never seen a car so shinny. he asked my uncle what was on the car. so my uncle is going to tell him what it is but he said they are to lazy to do it. but he is going to tell them anyway. it made me happy to get a complement like that.

Sounds kinda like Kevin V's story about the dealer being so impressed with his car when he traded it in they put it on special display.

yes it does. the only bad part to this story is that when he went to pick it up it was not fixed right. there was scratch in the new bumper, some things were missing and they some how put swirl marks in the paint. he was pissed. so am i.

how long after a car is painted do you have to wait to put Zaino on?

Kevin V, at the risk of being off-topic here, and if you don't mind me asking, where did you buy your SS and did you get a good deal? Also, did they happen to be a Pontiac dealer as well? I am toying with the idea of getting an '02 Firehawk but the SS is kind of growing on me too.

I bought my 2002 SS and my 99 SS from Bob Hook Chevy, both times for $500 over invoice. I always special order my car to get it exactly the way I want, it is easier to get the best deals that way because they didn't have to put any real time into it. They don't sell Pontiacs, just Chevys. If you go check into it ask for Tom Lovelace, he was my salesman and new more than the usual salesman about the SS and SLP options. If you are interested in more local info you can register and post on the KY F-Bodies Club message board. Go to www.kyfbodies.org

Thanks Kevin, I will keep that information in mind about an SS. I posted over at KYfbodies.org about Firehawk info, hopefully someone there can help as well.

Thanks again!
