Zaino is not hard on the paint!!

so im having this arguemtn on another board and he says that its hard on the paint... too much chemicals.

he says depending on how often you wash your car, it should only be used once a month at most.

then im like, its only been 1 month and i already got like 6 coats of that on. and thats nothing compared to some guys out there.

then he calls me an idiot for placing that many coats in a month!

LOL

What a jackass. Zaino contains no solvents. If it did, it wouldn't be layerable. If Sal Zaino himself says it's okay to put 3 coats on within a 24 hour period, then what makes this guy think 6 coats in a month is bad? People just want to flame Zaino because either 1. your car looks better, or 2. they can't afford it

From what I have learned about the internet and Zaino...

don't bother arguing about it...

I have honestly spent more time arguing about zaino, then actually using Zaino...

Stupid beliefs people have about zaino, from it take 3 months to put on, to you can't layer it, to it doesn't last long or look good., and that occasional guy who buys a bottle of Z2, throws it on his car like a typical cleaner wax and says, its nothing special.

Just say he is wrong and blow it off... Lots and lots of Zaino haters out their.

Yup, alot of people can't accept the fact that the perfect finish isn't a product, it's a process, and that's why there's so much prep work involved.

Tell the *** to go to www.hazard.com and look up the product he is using (not all waxes are on there but some are, most 3M and Meguairs products are on there) and he will be shocked at how much solvent like Stoddard is in many products, common abrasives in car waxes are quartz dust, alum. oxide, and others.

Zaino contians no cleaner, no solvents (its water based), and contains no abrasives, Zaino would have way way LESS chemcials in it than 99.9% of the other waxes and polishes on the market.

You can put on as many coats of your polish as you see fit, just as long as the paint beneath it is clean.

Just remember that what you put on should come off eventually. Thus, compiling 40 coats of whatever you use for more than a year's time (in my opinion) will not be quite as good, in terms of a resolution, as 4-6 coats of freshly applied and stretched (almost said wax) finish polish.

Your cleaning process, in terms of a good car wash, and your detailing habits, and of course the quality of your paint detailing product, will keep your paint in excellent shape for as long as you can maintain it.

The guy obviously doesn't have a clue about Zaino or ever used it. I love people who are know it alls about something they never even used. He is lost.
