ZAINO NO-BRAINER
Well, got my Zaino products and started two days ago. I did the Dawn wash, then Z-1, Z-5 and Z-6. The results are nothing short of spectacular. Waited 24 hours then did 5 and 6 again. I had just horrible swirl marks put into the paint by some moron at the dealership, they look MUCH BETTER but I am going to do a third coat of 5 and 6 before I wax it. Funny thing, my husband used Meguier's (sp?) products on his '01 Corvette and is now really disappointed. He wants me to Zaino HIS car now.
A couple questios - how much better can it get with the Z-2? And can I just throw the terry polishing pads into the washer with the towels or will the spongy part inside fall apart?
I am truly delighted so far. People out there, throw out your other products and go with the big Z! The only problem I've had so far is that I'm too short to reach the very top of the car behind the T-tops so a hubby with long arms helps. . .
Truly, can it be any easier than this? These products really do make caring for your car a "no-brainer". And I am always skeptical of such highly praised products, they never seem to pan out. . .

Sheesh, I got so engrossed in my original post that I forgot a question so here I am replying to my own note! Maybe I better go Zaino my own brain.
Qestion: on the second application of Z-5 I noticed it didn't go on quite as easily as the first which was applied over the Z-1. Is this the point where I should have moistened the applicator pad with something? I think someone mentioned they moisten it with Z-6 to give it some "slip"? But it says on directions for 6 not to let it dry on the car so how do I make the next ap slip on a little smoother? Thanks. . .

Yes, It's best to moisten the pad with Z-6 every so often while applying Z-2 or 5. You should not apply with a dry pad.

1) Z2 will make your car look twice as good as Z5 did. I didnt think it would either, but it did.
2) As for Z5 not going on as easily the 2nd time, sounds like what happened to me. I actually think the Zaino that was on there was making the stuff you were trying to apply "not stick" to the car. Sounds crazy, but I think its true.

It is also easier to spread the polish on a cool surface in the shade. Spritzing the pad with a little Z-6 or distilled water helps as well as stated above.
