Post Zaino newbie here : what do I need first?

Hey guys. I keep my car looking great I think. I wash it about 2x a week and make everybody open the doors by the handles so no fingerprints are left. The thing is, I would like to start taking better care of my paint which is still factory. I occasionaly use the McGuier's Quick Detail stuff and I like the look but I want something more. Is there a Zaino starter kit I can order and what all do I need? Thanks everybody for the help.

Well, Zaino pretty much has a complete system like Meguiar's or other major manufacturers. It really depends on how much you want to spend or how far you want to go. For a basic starter kit, Z1 OR ZFX, but not both, Z2/Z5, and Z7. Of course, you can always add Zaino's quick detailer type product, Z6, or a clay bar, Z18. I highly recommend both as well. I also use Zaino Perfect Tire Gloss, another great product. I used Meguiar's for years and was also a bit hesitant to try Zaino. But, IMHO, Z is the best thing I've found for shine and protection.

Go to www.zainobros.com and read up on all the great info and tips.

Hi

When you come over to the Zaino side - be sure "not" to mix your cleaner products. Sal has stated that using alternative detail sprays (as an example) will not produce the best results - and you will be dis-satisfied.

So, dont use your meguiars detail spray once you have zaino on the car.

if you are in canada - i'd be glad to help you out.

If you do decide to try the Zaino, you may want to get the clay bar also, if you don't already have one. Claying is an important part of the surface prep to remove all the contaminants.

If you are in or around Birmingham, I have a guy there who helps me distribute Zaino (I send him down some from time to time for local people) I can hook you up with him if you want.
