zaino and new paint
hi everyone
well, finally gave in and ordered my first batch of zaino last week--the same day i took my car in for some body repairs and a much needed paint job..i got the car out today and just as i got home, the u.p.s. guy dropped off my zaino....my question is this--can i put this stuff on tomorrow or do i need to wait the month or so the guy told me too??it is my understanding that it is not abarasive by any means--deeming it safe to use..what do you guys think...sijin89r/s..

There is no abrasives in Zaino. Do NOT use the Z-1 or the ZFX for at least 1 week, 2 weeks is even better. Actually, you can apply JUST the polish without waiting, some folks apply a coat before they leave the paint shop. Zaino is completely different than a wax. But I'd park it for at least a week and then start Zainoing away.
i can tell you from experience that it is ok to apply zaino right after you get the car back. no need to wait to wash or polish. i took my car home the same day, washed and polished it and was fine. wax, as im sure you know, is a diff story.
