Zaino - How many coats?

At what point, if any, am I wasting my time layering Zaino? The question isn't about my car itself but rather some parts that I have inside of the house. I have now used an entire bottle of Z5, 3/4 of the ZFX and 2/3 of the Z6 on a CAI and a new set of wheels in a VERY short time. Does the time ever come when the Zaino build up reaches a limit or can I just keep slapping layers on and continue to gain extra durabilty or shine?

Sounds like you are using too much polish on too small of an area, one bottle of Z-5 is enough for 12 to 14 coats at least on the entire paint surface on most cars.

12-14 on an entire car? WOW, I guess I am using too much. I got +/-21 coats on the wheels and CAI with the Z5 bottle. Is the limit ever reached where additional coats aren't really beneficial? I haven't noticed a real difference since the first couple of coats but like I said previously, I'M BORED so I just keep appling additional coats. Am I wasting my time & money, besides going heavy on product, by doing this?
Thanks Kevin

I would lay off putting it on the cold air intake and put it where it really counts, on the paint! The powder coated intake just will not shine and have the gloss of a clear coat paint job on the rest of the car.

Usually on a paint surface, 5 to 10 coats is about maxed out on shine.

One of the reasons that Zaino is so awesome is the fact that it only requires thin layers to achieve a great shine.

The car is next. I would have started with that but it's so damn cold here. This weekend it's going to be in a heated garage. Thanks.

My son is really good at applying Zaino thin, he gets 20+ complete coats of the entire car with a single bottle, including wheels.

Thumbs up

Wow, only 20+. I still have over half a bottle of each product, and I have at least 30-40 coats. Talk about thin.
