It's all in the prepwork. What condition is the paint in now?

If the paint's alright, then a moderate amount of prep + Zaino will make an awesome looking car. If the paint's great, then Zaino makes it better. If the paint sucks, you get shiny sucky paint.

If your paint sucks and you do a good amount of prep, it would look pretty damn good with Zaino.

Well today I did my whole car.Paint is mint original from the factory. So what I did today was got rid of all the factory orange peel.Started w/ 1200,1500,2000.Then I compouned the shine back and glazed it.1 step compund 2 step glaze-then a nice coat of malco carnuba. It looks better than a mirrior.Honestly it is so damn deep I was staring at the sun and clouds on my hood for like 20min.So really what is this stuff going to do for me.

Well, with a carnuba, you'll be staring at that awesome shine for a few weeks.

With Zaino... give it about 6 months before the shine starts to fade.

The shine isn't everything, it's the protection, and mostly durability of Zaino I like best. During school, my vehicles tend to get neglected and ignored due to time constraints, sometimes going a month or more without a wash. Even after sitting dirty for all that time, a quick wash and I'm back in business like nothing happened.

Plus, all that intense work rubbing in compound, then working it off, then applying the glaze, an working it off. No more of that either. Zaino applies with zero force and effort, you wait a bit, and it wipes off as if it wasn't even there.

Recent testimonial from last weekend can be found in my SCFBA Zaino Party Results thread. I've never seen wax come off after getting soaked, but Zaino wiped off like nothing had happened.

Hope this helps.

Well bring back the paint is alot easier with a machine than by hand which you are talking about correct? I am not worried about long term protection with carnuba I wax about once a week or every other.

See if you can grab me a good pic of the paint.

I'm too tired to respond right now, but IM me anytime @ PrintError and we'll talk. Hopefully I'll come up with something by morning

Especially in heat, wax melts and comes off. It's also abrasive. The reason Zaino has acquired such a following is that it's a non-abrasive polymer that lasts for months. It's also IMHO easier to apply and remove than any wax I've used. No hard rubbing to get it off, no worries about getting it out of crack and nooks & crannies.

The new formula Z5 seems to do a phenominal job at hiding swirls. I just tried it out yesterday.

Also, wax doesn't 'stack'. I mean, when you wax again in a week or so, you still have just one coat of wax. THe stuff that was there already had 'adhered' to the paint, and the new application will just fill in any spots you missed - anything extra will just buff right off.
With a synthetic (like Zaino), the layers actually 'stack' - meaning, for a person like you (who waxes so often) Zaino will get better/deeper/shinier every time you apply it. And the application & removal is much, much easier.
good luck!
